The earthquake of M8.9 occurred in northeast Japan at 2:46PM, March 11 at Japan standard time.
Because I lived in West Japan, did not receive immediate damage.
However, 10,000 people or more are still missing now in the stricken area.
Help has gathered from all over the world to the stricken area now.
I as one Japanese, wish to express my gratitude to you all over the world who rescues.
I'm glad to hear you are safe, and I actually wondered if you were in Japan and if you were affected. I've missed seeing you off in the distance working on the Slosser station! Good luck, and know our thoughts are with you.
