[WARR Today] :: Under repair of the Andraca over bridge

We are doing the repair work of the Andraca over bridge in relation to traffic signal control system construction of the WARR line.

WARR線の信号システム工事に関連して、Andraca跨道橋の改修工事をしています。

The crane currently used for construction is the largest InWorld.
(In the crawler crane currently sold at the marketplace, this is the largest)


セカンドライフで一番大きい（少なくともマーケットプレイスで売っているクローラークレーンの中ではこれが一番大きかった）クレーンを導入して工事をしています。

Please come to see the spectacle seen only now pleasing.
Construction will continue till Saturday next week.

[WARR Today] :: The Andraca bridge was completed.

In the WARR line, the interval of the section between the first and the second period section broke off in Andraca region. Because we could not acquire the site of this section and had a technical problem, it was difficult to build the track established permanently here.
Because we could get a site near this section by October, 2012 and the technical problem dissolved, Andraca Bridge to tie this section was completed on last November 21.

WARR線の第一期区間と第二期区間の間は、Andracaリージョンの中で途切れていました。
この区間は用地の取得ができておらず、また技術的な問題もあって、常設された線路を建設することが困難でした。
しかしながら、２０１２年１０月までにこの区間の近くに用地を得ることができ、さらに線路の建設に関する技術的課題も解消したことから、去る１１月２１日に、この区間を繋ぐAndraca橋が竣工しました。

The finished Andraca bridge has 130 meters in total length and becomes the longest bridge in the WARR line. The form of the bridge is a thing called deck truss and it is supported in three piers. The WARR line led to one by the completion of this bridge, and the construction of this railway which began from the Burns Station completion of December, 2010 was completed.

完成したAndraca橋は全長１３０mとなり、WARR線で最長の橋となりました。
橋の形式は上路トラス橋と呼ばれるもので、３本の橋脚で支えられています。
この橋の完成により、分断されていたWARR線はひとつにつながり、２０１０年１２月のBurns駅竣工から始まったWARR線の建設に一区切りが付きました。

これまでWARRの建設にご助力いただきました方々に、この場を借りて深くお礼を申し上げます。

We became going to tie it with bridging not an arch seen well in WARR line from the beginning of the plan about this section. However, the location was near to the shore, and it has the need that is considered in the form of the bridge in particular because there is the beach resort below immediately.
This bridge must make the design that attached great importance to the harmony with neighboring scenes, and it was necessary to reduce a feeling of coercion as much as possible.
Bridges of various forms were planned, but all of they were canceled.
Cable-stayed bridge and Extradosed bridge were given to a design candidate, too. Those bridges had a shape beautiful itself, but the influence on neighboring scenes was big because its height became very higher.

この区間については計画の最初から、WARR線でよく見られるアーチではなく、架橋でつなぐ予定になっていました。
しかしその立地は海岸に近く、すぐ下にはビーチリゾートもあるために橋の形式には特別に配慮される必要がありました。
すなわちこの橋は周囲の景観との調和を重視した設計にせねばならず、また威圧感をできるだけ減らす必要もありました。
様々な形式の橋が計画されてはキャンセルされました。
斜張橋やエキストラドーズド橋すら設計候補に挙がっていましたが、それらの橋はそれ自体は美しい形をしているものの、どうしても背が高くなってしまうので周囲への威圧感がぬぐえません。

The plan became simple Decked bridge after all. And, not a general girder bridge, a truss bridge that scenery of the rear was transparent was chosen.

結局シンプルな上路橋とする計画に落ち着き、さらに一般的なガーダー橋ではなく、視界の『抜け』のよいトラスが選択されました。

As for the deck truss bridge of the WARR line, there is "The Skyway" depending on Juanita region elsewhere.
Because this Andraca bridge did not have height and was a straight line, it was finished in the form that was very simpler than the Skyway.
This is a bridge of very simple form, but it is a bridge eager at all where all of construction technologies that WARR has was poured into.
However, only one has the matter that was not able to be realized by technical difficulty.
It is correspondence to physical trains.
Currently, physical trains cannot pass on this bridge.

WARR線で既設の上路トラス橋というと、Juanitaリージョンにかかる『The Skyway』があります。
このAndraca橋はSkywayほどの高さはないうえに直線なので、非常にシンプルな形に仕上がりました。
これはとてもシンプルな形の橋ですが、WARRの持つ建設技術を全てつぎ込んだ、とても意欲的な橋でもあります。
しかしひとつだけ技術的困難により実現できなかった事柄があります。
それは物理型車両への対応です。
この橋の上を物理車両は通過することができません。

The track was connected, but the construction of WARR has not been yet over.
We work on the improvement of the signal system and are testing it in some sections now.
The result of the test is favorable for the moment, and other sections are going to be replaced with this new signal system sequentially, too.
An aim of the new signal system is what both trains operated by person and run automatically can pass smoothly.

線路はつながりましたが、WARRの建設はまだ終わっていません。
現在は信号システムの改良作業をしており、一部の区間でテスト中です。
テストの結果は今のところ順調で、順次他の区間もこの新型信号システムに置き換えられる予定です。
新しい信号システムは、住民が運転する列車と、WARR線内で自動的に運転される列車の双方を円滑に通行させることを目標にしています。

WARR Today :: An extraordinary speed limit

Very many problems when crossing a region boundary have occurred compared with before after the last RC server rolling.
By the WARR line, the problem has often arisen around the Gunda region.
Especially when you run the section from Lida to Loepa containing a Gunda region, please take care about the speed of your train.

About the automatic train under operation with a WARR line now.
It is slowed down somewhat on a region boundary.
However, when you take it, please lessen the put-on script as much as possible.

WARR Today :: Sibine station improvement work completion

Improvement of the Sibine station which was constructing long finished.
After construction of the station east side finished, construction of the west side was advanced.
Replacement of the main line, exchange of switches, and adjustment of signals were performed, and all the construction was completed a while ago.

長らく工事中だったSibine駅の改良工事が竣工しました。
駅東側の本線付け替えが終わったあと、引き続き西側の本線付け替え工事を進めていました。
本線の付け替え、ポイントの交換そして信号の調整を行って、つい先ほど全ての工事が完了しました。

As for this, new tracks are seeming to be laid after the old tracks of the 2nd track are removed.

2番線の古い線路を剥がし、新しい線路を敷いているところです。

The 2nd track turned into the main line.
Since the position of the switch of the west side has changed, the 1st track has become shorter than before.

2番線が本線になりました。
西側のポイントの位置が変わってしまったため、1番線が短くなってしまいました。

WARR Today :: Reconstruction of tracks around Sibine station

I have reconstructed tracks around Sibine station now.

In fact, WARR line has the portion which is straddling others' land in Sibine station east, and the trouble on train operation had generated it there.
Since the land around a station appeared in sale this morning, the construction for solving this problem started.

Sibine駅周辺の線路を再構築しています。
実はSibine駅東方でよその土地を跨いでいる部分があり、そこで列車運行上のトラブルが発生していました。
今朝、駅周辺の土地が売りに出たので、この問題を解消するための工事が始まりました。

The contents of construction are changing tracks of Sibine station east.
And tracks are kept from straddling others' land.

具体的にはSibine駅東方の線路を付け替えて、件の土地を跨がないように改良します。

The move of an adjoining bridge is also included in this construction.
Since the 2nd track of Sibine station becomes the main line by this, replacement construction of tracks are planned also in the west of the station.

この工事には隣接する道路橋の移設も含まれています。
これによりSibine駅2番線が本線となるので、駅西方でも線路の移設工事を予定しています。

No changes are due to be in the position of the station or platforms.

駅の位置やホームの配置に変更はない模様です。

WARR :: [RESOLVED] Information about the interruption

The obstacles which existed in the Chiron region have been removed at 8:00 p.m. on April 13, 2012 SLT.

WARR Today :: New Signals at Hantu Station

New signals were installed in Hantu station and Sibine station.
These signals control the flow of the train in a station yard.

Hantu駅とSibine駅に新しい信号が設置されました。
これらの信号は駅構内での列車の流れをコントロールします。

Then, let's pursue an actual motion with sequential photographs.

それでは実際の動きを連続写真で追いかけてみましょう。

The place is Hantu station.
At this station, the 2nd track of right-hand side is the main line, and the 1st track of left-hand side is the sidetrack.
Switches are controlled so that a train can pass the 2nd track usually.

場所はHantu駅です。
この駅は右側の2番線が本線、左側の1番線が待避線です。
普段は2番線を列車が通過できるようにポイントが制御されています。

First, the first train comes in.

まず、最初の列車が入線します。

Several seconds after the first train comes in, the switch converts and it changes the course of trains from the main line to the sidetrack.

最初の列車が入線して数秒後、奥のポイントが転換し、構内の進路を本線から待避線に切り替えます。

Starter signals also change simultaneously with it and the signal by the side of the sidetrack displays advance.
At this time, the home signal which is in a way outside the switch does not change yet.

それと同時に出発信号機も切り替わり、待避線側の信号が進行を表示します。
このとき、ポイントの外方にある入場信号機はまだ変化しません。

Next, another train has gone also into the sidetrack.

次に、待避線側にも列車が入ってきました。

And since all the tracks of this station have been buried, the home signal displays stop.

そしてこの駅にこれ以上列車が入れなくなったので、入場信号機が停止を表示します。

These new type of signal systems are installed in Hantu station and Sibine station.

この新しいタイプの信号機システムはHantu駅とSibine駅に設置されています。


From now on, this system will extend functions, will detect the train which is between stations, and will control starter signals.
Then, the control function of automatic operation trains will be added.
Finally I aim at completion of the system which can perform employment of express.

今後、このシステムを元に機能を拡張します。
将来は駅間にいる列車を感知して出発信号機を制御するようになる予定です。
その後、自動運転列車の走行コントロール機能を追加します。
最終的には急行列車の運用ができるシステムを目指しています。

WARR Today :: Relocation of Andraca Station

WARRは第二期工事も進み、残る区間はAndraca駅とHantu駅の間100mちょっととなりました。

この区間を越える橋の建設にあたっては、Andracaリージョンに残された残り少ないプリム数をいかに効率よく使って建設するかが問われます。

その残りプリム数が284しかない状況で

さらにAndraca駅のRez容量を確保しようとすると、どう考えても無理な感じがします。

そこで関係者と協議した結果…
現在のAndraca駅を諦めて、別の場所に新規に建設する事になりました。

具体的にはこのように。
現在の位置から道路を渡って東側のLoepaリージョンとの境界線付近に新駅を建設することにします。
さらに、中途半端な存在だった側線も廃止して、信号システムを単純化することにします。


作業は3月18日深夜から20日早朝にかけて行われました。

通過する車両もほとんどないので、旧駅周辺を通行止めにしてぼちぼち建設しても良かったんですが、それじゃなんとなく面白くなかったのでなるべく通過交通を阻害しないような工事の方法をとってみたりして。

まず着手したのは新駅の建設から。

プラットホームを横切る赤いラインは、SIM境界線です。
ちゃんと落下防止策も施していますので、歩いてSIM越えできます。
道路からの入口は吊り橋の下になります。

これがその後、このように仕上がりました。

良くあるWARR仕様の駅ですね。

道路沿いに土地があまりないので、旧駅のような立派なロータリーは望むべくもありません。
19日の夕方までに新駅の方はほぼ仕上がりました。

さて、その後旧駅の方の作業に移ります。

新旧Andraca駅を対比。
2つの駅は19日の午後だけ同時に存在していました。

そして旧Andraca駅の取り壊し作業がすぐさま始まります。
ガンガン取り壊していって、そして線路の敷き直し作業へと進みます。

既に側線は撤去済みで、本線の横にもう一本の線路が並んでいるのが見えます。
カーブを緩やかにして制限速度の緩和を目指します。

新しい線路は5mあたり最大3度の角度変化で敷設されます。
カントは最大2度あり、これまで制限速度30km/hだったところ、40km/hに制限が緩和されました。
もしかすると制限なしでも大丈夫かもしれませんが、当分の間はこの制限速度にしておこうと思います。

古い高架構造を撤去して、架線を張り直して完成。
既設のダイナミックガイドはそのまま使用していますので、非物理車両限定で第1期線から第2期線へ通り抜けできます。

さて、気になるプリム残量ですが…

残りプリム数546。
かなり余裕ができました。

A New Shopping Mall Nearby Burns Station

It seems that a new shopping mall opened in Burns station on the south.

Burns駅南側に新しいショッピングモールがオープンしたようです。

It was a name of "Garden Only Mall".
I rewrote the direction board which is in the station instantly.

Garden Only Mallと名前が付いていました。
早速駅の案内も書き換えてみる。

It is a very much large mall.
It seems that a tenant still enters after this.
I expect development of the future of that.

なかなか大きなモールです。
テナントの入りはまだこれからと言ったところでしょうか。今後に期待です。

It is a calm atmosphere which used the sloping ground well.
A mason with a feeling of unification is desirable.

傾斜地をうまく利用した、落ち着いた雰囲気です。
石造りなのが良い味を出してますね。

This Garden Only Mall comes out of the Burns station southern entrance, and there is immediately.

このGarden Only Mallは、Burns駅南口を出てすぐにあります。
